Garage Door Industry Gatherings for 2025 and beyond
Garage door industry conferences offer a great chance for garage door business owners to network with peers, share industry information and trends, effectively marketing garage door repair businesses, and learn about new products.
Conference topics normally cover all aspects of the garage door business including sales, marketing, financing, legal issues, product knowledge, and safety. You can get ideas on how to improve your business practices, learn about industry trends, or get information that can help you start a new business.
IDA Expo+
This is the annual conference for the International Door Association. The next conference is schedule to be from April 14-17 2026. It will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The previous trade show was held in 2024 and featured the latest technology, products and information for Door industry professionals.

In previous events attendees were allowed to see the exhibits for free. To take full advantage of all the educational opportunities of the conference, the total cost was $525. Workshops were for management, technical, and training of garage door repair and operations.
IDA EduCon and TradeShow
While the IDA Expo+ isn’t scheduled again until 2025, IDA is offering a Spring 2025 EduCon and Tradeshow which is being held from April 10 – April 12 in Atlanta, GA.
The IDA Expo Spring 2025 EduCon is aimed at professionals in the door and access systems industry. This event features a lineup of educational sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of attendees. Participants can expect to engage with industry experts, gain insights into the latest trends and technologies, and explore best practices that can be applied to their businesses. The sessions cover a wide range of topics, including sales techniques, technical training, and management strategies, making it suitable for individuals at various levels of experience within the industry.
In addition to the educational components, the event also fosters networking among industry peers, allowing participants to connect, share experiences, and build valuable relationships. The Expo serves as a platform for manufacturers and suppliers to showcase their latest products and innovations, providing attendees with firsthand exposure to new technologies and solutions.

Western Access Systems Association
Western Access Systems Association (WASA) held its trade show from October 16th – October 17th, 2024 in Temecula, CA. Details for the 2025 trade show have yet to be released.
The 2024 event featured technical educational tracks by representatives form HAAS Door, GarageCO, Door & Gate Domination, Garage Door News, The Chicken Lady, Besser Garage, Service MVP and more.

DASMA’s Mid-Year meeting is being held at the Hilton Chicago from June 10-12 2025.
DASMA Annual Meeting
The annual meeting for DASMA is usually held in January – with the most recent event held from January 20-23 in Fort Myers Florida. Details for the 2026 event have yet to be released.
