PSA 2024
Known as “The Voice of the Appliance Service Industry,” the Professional Service Association (PSA) will be hosting their annual PSA convention September 23 – 26 in Portsmouth, VA.
Training topics will include appliance troubleshooting, basic and advanced refrigeration, electronic devices, office systems, business management, and much more. You can view the current agenda here.
Certification training & testing will be provided for attendees to become a Certified Consumer Specialist (CCS), Certified Service Manager (CSM), Certified Master Technician (Mcap), or Certified Technician (Tcap).
Registration cost is $729 with early bird and pre-registration discounts.
Gadget Repair Expo
The Gadget Repair Expo will take place at the Miami Convention Center in Miami, FL on May 7th & 8th, 2025. The Gadget Repair Expo (GRE 5.0) is set to be a major event for the repair industry. While not exclusively focused on appliances, this two-day expo promises a packed schedule of activities and opportunities for attendees. The event features networking opportunities with fellow industry professionals, a vast array of exhibitor booths, and back-to-back repair demonstrations by leading industry YouTubers. Attendees can expect to learn from industry experts, meet influencers, and discover new vendor opportunities. The expo also boasts over $55,000 worth of giveaways, adding an exciting element of potential prizes for participants.
One of the highlights of the event is the series of competitions, including screen repair and back glass repair contests, where competitors can showcase their skills and win cash prizes. The expo also features a unique “Best Hawaiian Shirt Contest” on Day 2.
